Arrest made following North Main St. shooting in Dayton

DAYTON — An arrest has been made following a shooting reported on North Main Street Sunday morning.

Steven Coleman, 48, was arrested on suspicion of felonious assault, tampering with evidence and two weapons related charges, according to jail records.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of North Main around 2 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting, according to a Dayton police report.

A Dayton police report showed shell casings and a handgun were recovered, however other details were not immediately available.
