Reports: Shot fired during armed robbery at Dayton house

DAYTON — Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a woman in her home at on Springfield Street in Dayton, early Monday morning, according to dispatch records.

The robbery was reported around 4:20 a.m. in the first block of Springfield Street in Dayton.

Dispatch records indicate one suspect had a handgun and fired a shot that went through a wall of the house and hit a car windshield.

The suspects kicked in the front door and stole the woman’s shoes and everything in her purse and then left on foot, according to dispatchers.

The suspects are described as male and female, both in the 30’s with the male suspect having facial tattoos.
