Airplane stolen from Wings; restaurant offering reward for information

BUTLER TWP. — A Butler Twp. restaurant damaged during the Memorial Day tornadoes is offering a reward after an airplane at the business was stolen.

Wings Sports Bar and Grill, 7903 N. Dixie Drive, posted on Facebook Wednesday that they are offering a $500 reward.

“All of you that have been to Wings remember the plane that was on top of outside bar (The Hangar),” the post read. “Below is what happened to it from the tornado last year and we were planning on using it on the new Hangar this year. Unfortunately some people suck and decided to steal it from where it was being kept.

Wings reported the plane as stolen on Wednesday, according to a police incident report. The plane was being kept behind the restaurant after it was damaged during the tornadoes.
