Air Force Marathon expands military discount

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Organizers of the Air Force Marathon are expanding the military discount for the marathon to include more people who serve or have served the United States.

Beginning during the 2022 Air Force Marathon, veterans and members of the Reserve Officer Training Corps will also be offered discounts.

Discounts were previously offered to active duty, reservists and National Guard members.

According to a release, those who qualify will be offered $10 off the full marathon, half marathon, relay and the “Fly! Fight! Win!” Challenge Series. Those who qualify could also be offered $5 off the 10k and 5k.

Brandon Hough, race director, said the race organizers were “thrilled” to expand the discounts as the marathon celebrates the 75th anniversary of the United States Air Force.

The marathon is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022. Registration beings Jan. 1, 2022.
