Adult, 2 children taken to hospitals after crash in Montgomery County

An adult female and two children were removed and taken to local hospitals for treatment after their Chevy crashed into a utility pole Saturday evening in the 3700 block of Salem Avenue.

The investigation revealed a dark-colored car was driving northbound on Salem Avenue, changed lanes into the northbound Chevy’s lane and struck the Chevy, which caused it to go off the road and crash into a utility pole. The dark-colored car then continued to drive away from the scene, according to a release.

The conditions of the adult female and two children are unknown.

The accident that happened around 6:45 p.m. is currently under investigation.
