3 victims shot after exchange of gunfire at Jefferson Twp. club Thursday morning

JEFFERSON TWP. — Three people were injured in a shooting at a Jefferson Twp. club early Thursday morning, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and medics received reports of multiple people shot at the K-9 Club at Germantown Pike and Frytown Road around 1:10 a.m. Thursday, according to dispatch records.

A 30-year-old woman was found in the parking lot with a gunshot wound and was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment, deputies said in a media release. The victim is listed critical condition.

During the investigation, deputies were notified that two other victims were driven to Miami Valley Hospital in private vehicles, both with gunshot wounds. Those victims, identified only as a 37-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, were both treated and released from the hospital, deputies said.

Deputies said their preliminary investigation found two other men, who have not been identified yet by investigators, exchanged gunfire in the parking lot of the club after a dispute. Both shooters fled the scene before deputies arrived on scene, investigators said.

The incident is under investigation by the Special Investigations Unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
