2nd U.S. Bank robbed in two days in Greene County; Beavercreek, Fairborn police investigate

BEAVERCREEK — Beavercreek Police are investigating a report of a robbery at the U.S. Bank on Dayton-Xenia Road this afternoon.

The robbery was reported at the location at 3245 Dayton-Xenia Road around 3:45 p.m.

Initial emergency dispatch traffic indicated Beavercreek officers were working with Fairborn police to see if it was the same man who is believed to have robbed a U.S. Bank in that city on Monday.

The robber in the Beavercreek case was said to have given a teller a note demanding money, according to dispatch traffic.

Initial reports indicated the robber was a man about 6-foot tall wearing blue jeans, a hoodie and had a white scruffy beard with a beanie hat.

Fairborn police said they are looking for a William “Tony” Rivers as a person of interest in Monday’s robbery. Rivers is 62-years-old, 5-foot-11 and about 220 pounds. He has a warrant for his arrest, officers said.
