2 taken to hospital after crash in Dayton

DAYTON — Two people have been taken to the hospital after an entrapment crash in Dayton early Saturday morning.

Montgomery County Regional dispatch tells us crews responded to the cross of Sandalwood Drive and Hillcrest Avenue on the report of a crash around 5:41 a.m.

When crews arrived, they found the driver pinned in the front seat and another passenger trapped in the vehicle.

Crews freed the two patients, and both were taken to Miami Valley Hospital for their injuries.

The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time
