UPDATE: 1 dead, 2 in serious condition identified after I-71 crash in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY — Two people were injured, and one is dead after a crash on I-71 Northbound near Wilmington road in Lebanon.

The Lebanon post of Ohio State Highway Patrol said they arrived on the scene at 5:42 p.m. Sunday.

A 1994 Ford Ranger driven by Brice Kelley, 18, of Wilmington, was going south on I-71.

Kelly lost control of his truck, crossed the median, and hit a 2018 Provost Bus driven by Clayton Dehnel, 30, from Gallatir, Tennessee.

Kelley was thrown from his truck and pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release from OSHP.

Skylar Cordy, 20, and Levi Howard, 21, of Wilmington, were passengers in Kelley’s truck.

They were taken to Bethesda North Hospital and are listed in serious condition.

One lane of I-71 North was closed at Wilmington Rd because of a crash, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
