CINCINNATI — Four people, including two children, were shot early Saturday evening in the Westwood neighborhood of Cincinnati, police confirmed.
CPD Lt. Col. Mike John told our news partners at WCPO that the children, a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old, were transported to Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
“Anytime you have somebody struck with gunfire at that age, it’s going to be critical,” John told WCPO.

John said that based on the shell casing left at the scene, police believe there were multiple people firing shots.
“At least two we can confirm, but, like I said, it’s possible there were other shooters, as well,” John said.
