1 taken to hospital after motorcycle crash on Chambersburg Road

FAIRBORN — A motorcyclist was taken to Miami Valley Hospital after a crash on South Chambersburg Road near Rainbow Lakes.

The motorcycle driver, 48, was driving east on South Chambersburg Road when a woman, 56, failed to yield as she pulled out of Rainbow Lakes, according to officials on scene.

The female driver was not injured and the motorcyclist suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Medway Road was shut down near South Chambersburg and state Route 235 for a little over an hour while crews cleared the scene.
