Man flown to hospital after motorcycle crash in Clark County

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP — A man was flown to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Clark County Friday evening.

State Troopers and Springfield Township medics were dispatched at 7:27 p.m. to the 600 block of Home Road on initial reports of a crash involving a motorcycle, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

A preliminary investigation reveals a motorcycle and pickup truck were involved.

Luke Spracklen, 19 from South Solon, was driving a pickup truck westbound on Home Road and Brandon Slone, 25 of Urbana, was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Home Road. The truck turned onto Westchester Park Drive and crashed into the motorcycle.

Slone was transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital. The severity of his injuries is not known at this time, OSHP Springfield dispatch told News Center 7.

Spracklen was not hurt.

Home Road was closed for about three hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
