Kings announces plan to battle racism after outcry. What will it do?

Kings Schools Superintendent Tim Ackermann promised at a recent school board meeting he and district officials would soon launch an extensive, anti-bigotry program designed to confront prejudice among students, school staffers and the community. Friday he announced the general outline for the program, which is still being developed and will eventually have to be approved by the Kings school board.(Nick Graham/Journal-News)
