— Cedarville University and Chick-fil-A are joining forces to bring the iconic chicken brand to the university’s campus.
The location of the restaurant has not been finalized, but the new eatery will be open to students and the general public, possibly in July 2020, a university spokesman said Monday, Aug. 20.
The Chick-fil-A restaurant is part of the university’s 10-year campus master plan.
“We are excited to partner with Chick-fil-A, an organization that shares Cedarville’s vision to glorify God through faithful stewardship,” Thomas White, president of Cedarville University, said when he announced the plan this morning to students, faculty, and staff in the university’s first chapel of the academic year, according to a university release.
