LIBERTY TWP — UPDATE: 3:34 p.m.
Tow trucks have removed both vehicles in the injury crash. The scene was completely cleared just before 3:30 p.m. and traffic has resumed at normal speed.
INITIAL REPORT: 3:05 p.m
A 2-vehicle injury crash slowed traffic for about an hour in all directions at the intersection of Cincinnati-Dayton Road and Wyandot Lane in Liberty Twp.
The crash between a Ford Escape and Hyundai Sante Fe occurred around 2:25 p.m and Butler County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty Twp. Fire Department responded to the scene.
At least two people were injured, including a young girl who was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. It’s uncertain at this time who was taken to the hospital by the other ambulance or the extent of the injuries of either individual.
Traffic remains slow at the intersection in all directions as tow trucks work to remove both vehicles.
