Greene County hospitals join Research!America in Public Health Thank You Day

XENIA — Greene County Public Health joins Research!America and other public health networks in thanking health care workers across the U.S.

Public Health Thank You Day honors all health care workers who have kept families safe especially during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Greene County’s Health Commissioner Melissa Howell said in a release “I can’t thank our public health employees enough for their steady

and effective guidance to our community. They have shown extraordinary courage, dedication, and commitment

throughout the pandemic. Our employees have distinguished themselves as public health professionals with

diverse backgrounds that reflect our unique community. Every day they work to improve the health of our

community, but this year and in this time, I can’t think of anything to be more grateful about than the public

health team at GCPH!”
