Funeral set for Mobley family members killed in fire

A funeral will be held Thursday for four members of the Mobley family who died in a fire at their Craig Drive home last week.

The viewing for Alicia Mobley, her two sons Shaun Mobley Jr. and Jacob Mobley, and her father Forrest Carroll will start at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Kettering.

A funeral service will immediately follow at the church, 3939 Swigart Road.

The Ohio Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the large blaze that destroyed the home and damaged two neighboring houses in the early morning hours of Dec. 11.

Alicia Mobley's husband Shaun Mobley and their two daughters survived the fire.

Shaun Mobley spoke to News Center 7 about the tragedy over the weekend. He expressed his thanks to the Kettering community for an outpouring of support that includes a donation drive planned for this Saturday at Indian Riffle school.
