2 critically hurt in Miami Co. motorcycle crash

UPDATE @ 8 a.m. (Nov. 16)

According to an accident report, deputies have identified the driver and passenger injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday.

Both the driver, Marshall Neuhaus, 35, of Huber Heights, and Kristina Miller, 32, of Medway are still listed in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital.

Deputies said in the report a preliminary investigation found the pickup truck involved pulled out into the path of the motorcycle.

Neither Neuhaus nor Miller were wearing helmets.

EARLIER (Nov. 15)

Two people were left with critical injuries in a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck this afternoon in Bethel Twp., Miami County.

Crews responded to the crash around 2:30 p.m. at U.S. 40 and South Palmer Road near New Carlisle.

Two adults on the motorcycle were critically hurt and taken by a medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital, according to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office.

The motorcycle was westbound on U.S. 40 when it collided with a northbound pickup truck on Palmer Road, according to the sheriff’s office.

It’s unclear who was at-fault and the crash remains under investigation.
