SUV damages and crashes into home in Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS — An SUV crashed and damaged a home in Huber Heights Friday afternoon.

Officers and medics were dispatched to the intersection of Summerdale Drive and Stonehurst Drive around 3:15 p.m., according to the Huber Heights Police.

A white Chevy Trax crashed into the residence but no one was home at the time of the crash, Huber Heights Fire said on social media.

The driver was hurt and medics took him to the hospital.

Images from the scene show damage to side of the house and the SUV suffered rear-end damage.

The crash remains under investigation.
