DAYTON — A woman who called 911 Saturday morning after seeing two people shoot at her neighbor later found a bullet hole in her bathroom.
The woman saw two males fire shots at a neighbor shortly before 9:30 a.m. while he was outside in the 300 block of Delaware Street.
She told dispatchers she heard four shots before one suspect fled on foot and the other sped off in a white BMW sport-utility vehicle, according to a Dayton police report. It does not appear that anyone was hit.
In fear, she left and did not return until around noon. That’s when she saw a bullet hole in her bathroom and called police again around 12:15 p.m.
According to the police report, there was a bullet hole through the window; chipped wood in the window frame where the bullet hit the bathroom tile on the shower wall; a bullet fragment on the bathroom floor; and a bullet fragment on the window ledge.
Police called for an evidence crew.
