Walmart customers ‘unruly’ after early close

Police had to be called after customers of a Walmart became unruly when the store closed early Christmas Eve.

Miami Twp. police were dispatched around 8 p.m. Wednesday when several customers became upset and unruly when the Walmart in the 8800 block of Kingsridge Drive closed.

Initial reports say people were trying to enter the store by force before police arrived.

Police say one citation was issued, but no arrests were made.

According to a company website, the location on Kingsridge Drive is normally open 24 hours, but closed at 8 p.m. for the holiday.
