Thanksgiving bust yields stolen gun, lots of marijuana, 1 arrest

A stolen gun and “a substantial amount of marijuana” were seized as part of a police investigation into a suspicious vehicle.

Moraine officers on patrol Thanksgiving morning spotted the vehicle in the 2100 block of Dryden Road; their investigation led to the confiscation of the gun and pot, the Moraine Police Department posted Tuesday afternoon to its Facebook page.

One person was arrested in connection to the investigation.

While police did not identify the suspect, Montgomery County Jail records show that Kiff Bailey Sr., 44, was arrested Thursday morning on Dryden Road and was booked on suspicion of drug and weapons charges.
