A woman police suspect was driving while intoxicated ended up going to the hospital early Friday morning when police say she resisted being handcuffed and fell on some ice.

A police officer first spotted the woman when her van was stuck on a concrete parking divider in the lot of Sammy’s Food Mart on South Smithville Road, according to a Dayton Police report.
