LONDON, Ohio — Funeral services are set for a 24-year-old woman found stabbed to death in a dumpster behind her Kettering apartment.
A visitation for Sierra Dawn Woodfork is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eberle-Fisher Funeral Home & Crematory, 103 N. Main St. in London. A memorial service follows the visitation at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences for the family may be sent through the funeral home here.
Woodfork is a Springfield High School graduate, and she enjoyed soccer, the Special Olympics, music, dancing and movies, according to her obituary.
Woodfork’s body was found Jan. 18 wrapped in a blanket in the dumpster. The man accused in her death, her boyfriend Terrel M. Ross, told police that he killed her Jan. 12 and first placed her in a closet and then inside a refrigerator before moving her to the dumpster.
Ross is being held on $1 million bond in the Montgomery County Jail facing several charges, including murder and gross abuse of a corpse.
