Dayton police reported a Thursday incident where a caller in the 200 block of Illinois Avenue told them a suspicious salesman threatened to throw a brick at her head before leaving.
According to the report, the caller told officers a man approached her residence trying to talk about Duke Energy Company.
The witness told him if he kept walking around the neighborhood, he was going to have cat feces thrown at him.
Police reported several residences had window stickers advertising the cat feces threat.
The witness said the man replied that he would throw a brick at her head, then attempted to grab a brick from a nearby wall, but was unsuccessful because it was actually a retaining wall that was constructed together.
Finally, the witness said the man became frustrated, began yelling profanities and waving his arms while running down the road.
Other neighbors reported seeing the man get into a blue Honda driven by a woman that left the area.
