Dayton man indicted on 2 sex-related charges involving a minor

UPDATE @ 7:35 p.m. (May 23):

A 27-year-old Dayton man was indicted today on two sex charges: gross sexual imposition by force and soliciting involving a minor 16 or 17 years of age, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

Kendall Shoffner is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday. He remains in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been held since his May 16 arrest.

FIRST REPORT (May 17):

A 27-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning on two sex charges, according to a police incident report.

Kendall Shoffner was charged with gross sexual imposition and compelling prostitution, jail records show.
