Robbery report unfounded at Dayton gas station

DAYTON — UPDATE @8:35 a.m.

A robbery did not happen at Valero this morning as initially reported.

There was reportedly a suspicious person in the parking lot, and someone reported a robbery was about to take place.

Police are responding to a report of an armed robbery at the Valero gas station at 527 S. Smithville Road.
