Jared Wayne Richmond, 20, of Kettering and Sara Elizabeth Smith, 25, of Dayton, were indicted Thursday by a Montgomery County grand jury.

According to Dayton police, Richmond was driving a stolen green 2001 Mazda Tribute that was involved in police pursuits in Dayton and Riverside when Dayton police spotted it again the evening of Jan. 28 and tried to pull it over. During the pursuit, police said Richmond’s passenger, identified as Smith, threw out an AK-47 rifle before police were able to stop the car and apprehend the pair in the 100 block of East Helena Street in Dayton.
