Man who smashes stolen truck into Troy house pleads no contest

TROY — A Piqua man accused of stealing a truck and driving into a Troy home in the early hours in August pleaded no contest to three charges Feb. 27 in Miami County Common Pleas Court.

Kevin Lux, 23, was found guilty of felony theft and burglary and misdemeanor driving while under the influence.

Police said Lux stole a pickup from a Miami Street garage and hit a couple of parked vehicles before driving into a Linwood Drive home where three people were sleeping. No one in the house was injured.

Lux will be sentenced April 9.
