He fled from a Huber Heights officer who tried to pull over Perry on May 13 in a 2007 Chrysler 300 reported stolen from a man in Harrison Twp., according to Huber Heights police and court records.

Tire deflation devices helped to stop the vehicle after the chase reached into Dayton, where Perry was taken into custody.

He was indicted Tuesday for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, two counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle and one count of receiving stolen property, all felony charges, according to a county grand jury report.

Perry remains in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been held since his May 13 arrest.
