Jarrod K. Samons, 30, is charged with felony inducing panic and three misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing, using weapons while intoxicated and obstructing official business, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report released Monday.

Samons held police at bay for more than five hours March 25 at his home in the 8200 block of South Union Road.

Police were called to the home after Samons allegedly grabbed a gun and threatened to kill another man during an argument. Multiple shots were fired during the standoff, but Miami Twp. police said it wasn’t clear at what the suspect was firing.
