Man indicted in burglary, assault that involved hatchet in Dayton

DAYTON — A 31-year-old man was indicted Thursday in connection to a December attack involving a hatchet.

Cody Jack Williams is charged with burglary and two counts of felonious assault stemming from the Dec. 6 incident in the 1000 block of Colwick Drive in Dayton.

He remains held in the Montgomery County Jail, and is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, according to court records.

A man injured in the attack did not suffer life-threatening injuries, Dayton police said at the time.
