DAYTON — A 38-year-old Dayton man accused of a purse-snatching remains jailed tonight.
Kaliya K. Daniels was booked early today into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of two counts of robbery and for a possible probation violation, online jail records show.
Dayton police were called around 12:50 a.m. to the Shell gas station, 4046 Free Pike.
There, two Trotwood women said a man snatched a purse with flowers on it, containing items including a Social Security card and a knife with a bone-colored handle, according to the report.
The robber did not use a weapon, but force or a threat was involved for it to be a felony, the report shows.
Daniels is scheduled to appear Monday in Dayton Municipal Court.
