Kettering man has July trial for Oakwood LCNB robbery case

A Kettering man accused of robbing the same Oakwood LCNB held up Wednesday is scheduled to go on trial in July.

Anthony Vaughn, 62, has pleaded not guilty to the Feb. 23 bank robbery at Lebanon Citizens National Bank, 2705 Far Hills Ave. He was indicted March 8 by a Montgomery County grand jury.

Vaughn is accused of demanding money and leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was shown, but a dye pack reportedly exploded on him as he fled.

The same LCNB was robbed again this week on Wednesday. The suspect is a woman police identified as 19-year-old Casey Cole of Seamon, Ohio, who was apprehended Thursday in Sharonville with a man suspected in a Dayton homicide, according to police.
