A woman was killed and a man was critically injured Friday night in South Lebanon.
Crews were called at 11 p.m. to a 911 call from a person in need of help at 59 W. Broadway. Inside, they found the body of a woman who lives at the residence and a man who was injured, according to a release from Warren County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Barry K. Riley.
The victims, who lived at the residence were not identified.
Two people who also live there were not home and immediately became persons of interest in the homicide and were arrested in connection with this crime, Riley stated.
Christopher G. Kirby, 37, and Jacqueline R. Kirby, 30, were taken into custody on suspicion of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony. They are awaiting arraignment, scheduled for Tuesday, online Warren County Jail records show.
The investigation is ongoing, Riley said.
There is no perceived danger to residents of the normally quiet community, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Warren County Communications Center at 513-695-2525.
