And according to the Warren County Drug Task Force, the 23-year-old Hilliard, Ohio, man arrested is a local link for marijuana shipments from California.
Belal Mohammed Shalash is being detained in the Warren County Jail on multiple charges including felony drug trafficking and drug possession, according to Cmdr. John Burke of the task force.
The arrest occurred Tuesday while the task force raided a home in the 400 block of Springs Boulevard in Springboro.
Burke said the investigation has yielded 25 pounds of high-grade marijuana, cash and weapons from the Springboro address and at a location in Hilliard where Shalash lives.
