Dayton man, 45, indicted in rape, pornography case involving a juvenile

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 8:30 p.m. (Sept. 11)

A $250,000 cash bond was set for a 45-year-old Dayton man facing numerous child sex-related charges.

Demetrius Taylor was arraigned Tuesday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

He remains in the Montgomery County Jail, but if he posts bond he will be on electronic home detention, court records show.

A 45-year-old Dayton man was indicted Friday on 13 charges in a child rape, pornography and drug case.

Demetrius Taylor is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday for two counts of rape; two counts of sexual battery; five counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor; and one count each of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, corrupting another with drugs and breaking and entering; as well as a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the unruliness or delinquency of a child.

Taylor has been held in the Montgomery County Jail since his Aug. 21 arrest by Dayton police.
