A Reid Primary and Middle School nurse’s aide has been put on leave following an investigation into missing medication belonging to students.
Clark-Shawnee Superintendent Gregg Morris said school leaders acted quickly when they were made aware of the possible incident.
“We had some suspicions and had been watching a few hours before that and trying to figure out if there was something wrong,” Morris said.
The nurse’s aide was put on leave Thursday. Parents were contacted by a letter Friday alerting them of the incident.
Morris wouldn’t identify Friday night who the employee was.
