Chipotle armed robberies perplexing to police

Police continue to search for the suspects they say robbed a Chipotle restaurant in Butler Twp. Officers released the surveillance  video above of one of the robberies.

First report:

Butler Twp. police are searching for suspects they believe committed multiple armed robberies at the Chipotle restaurant along Miller Lane.

The restaurant has been robbed twice in the past 30 days, police said. One of the incidents happened on Sunday, Sept. 24 and the second robbery occurred on Sunday, Oct. 22.

According to police, in both cases masked men wearing hoodies and carrying large weapons, entered the store and demanded to be taken back to the store’s safe.

No shots were fired and no was hurt on either occasion, per reports.

The men left the scene in a white Chrysler 300 style car the first time, and a maroon SUV for the second robbery.

Officials continue to investigate the incidents.
