DAYTON — UPDATE: 11 a.m. (Jan 10):
Dayton police confirm one of the two suspects accused of breaking into cars and stealing a gun have been identified and arrested.

The first male, who police said was likely a juvenile, wearing a black hoodie with the word “BUGS” on the back and had a Nike string bag, was identified and arrested, police said in a tweet Thursday.

The gun that was stolen was also recovered, police said.
The second male, who police described as having light brown hair and was wearing a black hoodie, jean shorts and red shoes, has not been identified.

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify two young men, likely juveniles, who stole a firearm from a car this week.
#HELPID - 2 wh. males (likely juveniles) stole a firearm from a vehicle on Winding Oak Circle on 1/8 around 4:20am. The incident happened around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday on Winding Oak Circle, according to a social media post from the Dayton Police Department.
One suspect has brown hair and was wearing a black hoodie with the word “BUGS” on the back and had a Nike string bag.
The second suspect has light brown hair and was wearing a black hoodie, jean shorts and red shoes.
