2 arrested, drugs seized in Dayton raid

Two men were arrested and large amount of drugs were seized today in a drug raid.

Citizen complaints of drug activity led to the raid today of 1525 Weaver St. in Dayton, according to the Montgomery County Regional Angencies Narcotics & Gun Enforcement task force.

RANGE task force detectives seized a large quantity of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and cash from the house following a drug trafficking investigation.

Tatum Johnson, 38, and Ray Shropshire, 37, were both arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of possession of drugs, according to the sheriff’s office. Shropshire also had a warrant on a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear, online jail records show.
