$43,000 in pot plants seized in Clark County

Detectives seized marijuana plants worth $43,000 along with guns and cash today during a raid at a German Twp. home.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the Regional Agencies Narcotics and Gun Enforcement task force and the German Twp. Police Department searched a home in the 1800 block of Ballentine Pike. Inside the home, detectives seized 43 grown marijuana plants, marijuana growing equipment, a semi-automatic pistol, one shotgun, three bullet-proof vests and $2,780 cash, according to the sheriff’s office.

The estimated street value of the 43 plants is $1,000 for each plant, or $43,000.

No one has been charged, and the investigation is ongoing. The sheriff’s office said the case will be presented to the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office at a later date.
