UPDATE: 1 injured after a vehicle crash on Hoover Avenue; cause still under investigation

DAYTON — UPDATE @ 8:28 a.m.

The scene on Hoover Avenue is now cleared.

UPDATE @ 5:44 a.m.

Dayton crews responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a utility pole at the intersection of Hoover Avenue and Goodlow Avenue in Dayton early Monday morning.

According to responders on the scene, the female driver was ejected from the vehicle but only suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation however, speed is being determined as a factor in the crash.

Hoover Avenue remains closed on both sides as crews continue cleaning up the scene.

INITIAL REPORT

Emergency crews are responding to a vehicle crash with a possible ejection at the intersection of Hoover Avenue and Goodlow Avenue in Dayton.

According to reports, crews were dispatched at around 3:30 a.m.

Initial reports indicate one person was ejected from the vehicle. Their condition and extent of their injuries are not known at this time.

Reports also indicate that police crews are shutting down Hoover Avenue as they tend to the scene.
