Fire destroys garage, damages neighboring structures in Bradford

BRADFORD, Miami County — UPDATE @ 5:30 a.m.:

A two-car garage was destroyed after a fire on the 200 block of East Church St. in Bradford.

A neighboring house and garage were damaged by the fire along with electrical wires near the structure. DP&L crews were called to the scene to make repairs to the electrical lines, according to our crew on the scene

The call came into dispatchers just before 4 a.m.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

INITIAL REPORT @ 4:15 a.m.:

Miami County fire crews are responding to a detached garage fire on the 200 block of East Church St. in Bradford according to scanner traffic.

The call came in at 3:57 to report the structure fire.
