Congressman Tim Ryan called on President Biden and Congressional leadership to provide additional COVID relief funding for restaurants and their employees.

“Restaurants in Ohio and across the nation are still struggling to make ends meet and keep their employees working,” Ryan said in the release.

Ryan joined with Representatives Mike Thompson and Congressman Earl Blumenauer in calling for a substantial replenishment of the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.

“The restaurant industry employs millions of Americans, in every State and Congressional district in our country. As Congress moves forward with President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, it is utterly imperative that restaurants receive additional relief,” the lawmakers wrote in the letter.
