City of Dayton Golf centers remained closed

DAYTON — The City of Dayton will keep its golf centers, Madden, Community and Kittyhawk, closed until further during the COVID-19 emergency as a precautionary measure.

The Ohio Department of Health clarified its order, allowing golf courses to operate as an outdoor recreation activity as long as social distancing and disinfecting precedures were followed on March 30 .

It has been determined by the city that its golf center do not have the resources to fully meet the safe operating protocols.

The Division of Golf will continue to evaluate operations as resources become available and as mandates are adjusted.
