HUBER HEIGHTS — Staff at the Huber Heights Casey’s General Store, 6007 Troy Pike, held a check presentation on Thursday to donate the money they raised for local Special Olympic athletes.
Casey’s General Stores throughout Ohio partnered with Coca-Cola in June to hold an in-store fundraiser that over 21,000 athletes will benefit from.
The two companies were able to raise over $2.2 million dollars for Special Olympics Ohio by making donating easy when checking out and including proceeds from each 20 ounce Coca-Cola drink and pizza slice combo sold.
