Morris Furniture Company will be donating 200 mattresses, sheet sets, and mattress protectors to those affected by the Memorial Day tornado outbreak.
"We are Dayton strong. We are Miami Valley strong. We stand with tornado victims and the volunteers helping people put their homes, businesses and lives back together,” company President and CEO Larry Klaben said in a prepared statement.
Morris will deliver three truckloads of mattresses and bedding to St. Vincent de Paul, 124 W. Apple St., next Monday at 10 a.m.
"We are very grateful for our partnership with Morris Furniture Company,” St. Vincent de Paul Society Executive Director Michael Vanderburgh said. “Once housing is secured for uninsured or under-insured tornado victims, often the greatest need they have is for places to sit, sleep, and eat.”
Tornado victims can also visit any Dayton-area Morris Home, Better Sleep Shop, Ashley HomeStore or Morris Back Room showrooms and purchase at employee prices with extended financing.
