DAYTON — A café in Dayton is the victim of repeated vandalism and they’re are not alone.
Someone threw a rock at the window of St. Anne the Tart Monday injuring a customer in the process.
The customer is expected to be OK, but the café is trying to get in touch to check on the customer.
"I was so bummed out because with everything Dayton has been through this summer, with the tornado, the shootings and the Oregon District, I felt like after Gem Shine we were all coming together as a community so it just broke my heart a little bit,” said Shannon Tucker, a local customer.
St. Anne the Tart at 1500 E. Fifth St. in Dayton opened in March; employees said the business was vandalized in August as well.
Another business down the street also had a rock thrown through its window a few weeks ago.
