House fire out on National Road in Bath Twp.

BATH TWP. — UPDATE @ 9:03 p.m.:

After battling a house fire on National Road, crews were able to put out the flames.

When crews arrived on scene they saw heavy smoke coming from the attic above the garage.

The homeowner was there during the time of the fire, but no one was injured.

Crews are telling people to be careful on National Road until salt trucks can make it to the area.

Water that hit the ground while firefighters tried to contain the flames began to freeze and salt trucks have been requested to the scene.

Emergency crews are working to contain a structure fire in the 2400 block of National Road.

Water lines have been pulled as they continue to work on putting the fire out, according to initial reports
